Riski is quick to cheerful behavior, often lively around others and offering kindness when entering a room. The mood of a room can affect her emotions and demeanor fairly easily for good or ill however. Riski is quick to excitement when something of interest to her is revealed. People will often think her rude or insensitive when that single-minded, academic side of her takes over.Those interests? Most things relating to the alchemic or aetheric arts. She's a sucker for the knowledge of anything new and she is willing to learn from any tome, sorcerer or chirurgeon if she thinks that she'll be rewarded with new knowledge. As she is so easily distracted through her curiosity, Riski will typically follow her whims and display great willingness to live out new experiences, trying anything at least once.For the longest time, Riski was a stranger to coastal climates and now she loves to spend time at the beach. Her pale Veena complexion displaying surprising resilience to rays of sunlight and she could spend an entire day swimming, lounging and dancing along the shore. Her early months away from Golmore were spent crossing the ocean and living along the coast, so she'll always love the ocean for its role in the start of her life of travel and providing means for funding it.

As one might expect of a youthful-looking viera who seems to spend little time in any one place, Riski can appear naive to the ways of most of the people of Eorzea. Their motivations, their mannerisms, their customs. She's easily led astray by conjecture and outright fabrications on social issues and customs. This is less of an issue in Doma, but she still has her moments.Riski was mildly adept to martial combat growing up, but manipulating aether came naturally and soon became a focus. It wasn't long before she felt she had little to learn from her village in the Skatay Range. When her travels led her to the edges of the Golmore forests, she decided to abandon her forest name and continue her journey. She would pass through Dalmasca, Thavnair and beyond, victim to her wanderlust and some other desire unspoken.

Riski traveled from the Far East to Eorzea early in her wandering, taking the first ship she could with little concern for where it was bound. It wasn't long before she found herself in a Lominsan port, learning everything she could and planning her new life.Ever since, she's traveled by whim, earning enough gil to keep up with expenses wherever she landed. She sampled each city-state and learned what she could. She rarely focused on studying the locations and people of each region as much as she did their various practices of magic. Eventually Riski would leave again for somewhere new, disappointed in what she found... as if looking for something very specific, goals and motivations she was never up front about with the various librarians and instructors. She would continue to travel, sampling life on the move as she resumed her hunt for whatever it was she sought, sometimes leaving as rumors of strange apparitions would begin...

Riski can be found in any city and she loves to travel to new or exotic locations. Wanderlust such as hers can be expensive at times and she doesn't have to know someone well to be talked into a journey if the place sounds interesting, especially if it is an ancient and powerful location.Alchemist
While Riski is far from an expert in the field, she is a quick study. Having learned most of the basic brews common to an adventurer's needs, as well as a few concoctions of her own creation, Riski has taken to Alchemy as her main source of income now. She works as a supplier and can be found in most city-states, restocking your favorite merchant or trying to open a new business connection.
